Evaluation of the Effect of the COVID-19 Pandemic on the Distribution of Kidney Transplants in the World in 2019 and 2020

Background: The COVID-19 pandemic caused by SARS-CoV-2 has had adverse effects in every field. One of the affected areas is organ supply and transplantation. This study aimed to evaluate impact period on number kidney transplants 2019 2020 countries with a population 40 million above.
 Material Methods: We evaluated from living deceased donors reported between Global Observatory Donation Transplantation (GODT). obtained over before after pandemic.

 Conclusions: Compared 2019, increased only 2020, while other have decreased. Countries where Thailand, Korea, States. Total decreased 35.4% compared 2019.
